Casa Azul sits at 635 Ave I, on a quiet no-outlet street in Old Town, near the ferry. Most of what you came for is a short walk or cart ride away.
The things we tell our own friends before they come down.
The ferry runs 24 hours a day, but timing is everything. Friday afternoon arrivals and Sunday morning departures bring the longest lines. Before you head out, check TxDOT's ferry wait times and webcams (opens in a new tab) or the Port A Ferry feed on X. If the wait is over 45 minutes, it's usually faster to drive around through Corpus Christi, cross the JFK Causeway onto the island, and come up Highway 361 to Port Aransas.

Walking onto the beach is free. To park on the sand, you need a $12 beach parking permit, good through December 31 of the year you buy it. It covers the beach from mile marker 0 to 62, in both Port Aransas and Corpus Christi.
You can pick one up at the Port Aransas Welcome Center, City Hall, the Family Center IGA, Ace Hardware, and participating convenience stores. Stick it on your windshield and you're set. Permit details (opens in a new tab).
Bringing a boat? The Port Aransas Municipal Harbor is a short drive from the house, with public boat ramps nearby, and several waterfront restaurants let you tie up while you eat.
Best of all, Casa Azul has a private lot with room for your boat trailer overnight, which is rare in Old Town.

Nightly rates change by season. Every stay adds a one-time $150 cleaning fee, plus $35 if you bring a pet, and Texas and Port Aransas hotel taxes (15% total). Stays of 7 nights or more get 10% off the nightly rate. Send your dates and we'll reply with an exact total.
Payment goes through Stripe, the same processor used by many major online stores. We never ask for your card number by email or text. You'll get a written confirmation with your dates and total.
Each unit sleeps 6, but we do make exceptions, for example for families with kids or a group bringing an air mattress. Just ask in your message. For bigger groups, book the Full House, which sleeps 12.

Two spots are owner storage: the guest bedroom closet and the downstairs space under Unit A. The downstairs space under Unit B is shared by both units, with beach toys, coolers, chairs and the washer and dryer. Everything else is yours during your stay.
